How it all started?

About Us

The Smart Dog Company is a small business based in Yorkshire.
My business came about when I adopted a rescue whippet who had been very badly treated.
I needed to make him a coat and something to keep him warm at night and as a very keen dress maker and crafts person I set to work.

Perfect Fit for Dalmatian

I bought a Bertie coat for my Dalmatian (shaped like a pointy dog!) and it’s the only coat I’ve found to fit her perfectly around both her rib cage and tiny waist

Delighted with these Collars

Stunning Collars

Just received my collars. Oh my gosh they are absolutely gorgeous. They were bought in readiness for the arrival of our pup (at Easter) and I will definitely be returning when he gets old enough to go outside to get a coat and some of the jumpers too.
